THE DAY OF THE LORD:
Isa 13:6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD [is]
at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the
Almighty.
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh,
cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay
the land desolate: and he shall destroy the
sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens,
and the earth shall remove out of her place,
in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day
of his fierce anger.
Isa 22:5 For [it is] a day of trouble, and of treading
down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts
in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls,
and of crying to the mountains.
Isa 24:21 And it shall come to pass in that day,
[that] the LORD shall punish the host of the high
ones [that are] on high, and the kings of the earth
upon the earth.
Isa 34:8 For [it is] the day of the LORD'S vengeance,
[and] the year of recompences for the controversy
of Zion.
Eze 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither
made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand
in the battle in the day of the LORD.
Eze 30:3 For the day [is] near, even the
day of the LORD [is] near, a cloudy day;
it shall be the time of the heathen.
Joe 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD
[is] at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty
shall it come.
Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound
an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants
of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh,
for [it is] nigh at hand;
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood, before the great and the
terrible day of the LORD come.
Joe 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:
for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
Amo 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of
the LORD! to what end [is] it for you? the day
of the LORD [is] darkness, and not light.
Oba 1:15 For the day of the LORD [is] near upon
all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done
unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own
head.
Zep 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the
Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD [is] at hand:
for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath
bid his guests.
Zep 1:8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the
LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes,
and the king's children, and all such as are clothed
with strange apparel.
Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
before the coming of the great and dreadful day
of the LORD:
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief
in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt
with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that
are therein shall be burned up.
The Day of the LORD is Judgment Day for
the Gentiles, the nations of the world. Even
though periodically throughout history,
plagues and wars, famine, earthquakes
and natural disasters have inflicted damage
and humility on vulnerable populations of
people, never before has there been another
mass judgment, comparable to the flood.
Israel's already has been judged and
overthrown three times. While physically,
nationally Israel has a presence and role
in today's politics, it is a secular nation.
That is a HUGE sin, but, Israel will still
be used to judge the nations. Because
for all of Israel's sins, it's nothing compared
to the world's hatred of Jews and Christians
and the genocide going on, even to this
day. Every day Christians are being
beheaded, yet Matt Drudge won't
tell you this.
The LORD vowed never to utterly
obliterate the world again, and the
misconception about what we term
"Armageddon" is not total destruction,
but, clear judgment which pretty much
changes the landscape. We don't know
if it will come from our own hands, vis
a vis nuclear war, certainly a possibility,
or if the seven cups of plagues are a
unique and heavenly scourge.
However it happens, it is in response
to the world's final solution.
The "CONTROVERSY OF ZION" is what
the fate of the world pivots upon, and this
alone should make atheists quake.
Today, in the news, some so-called researcher
in Israel, decided that Moses was tripping on
psychedelic drugs, an experience that often
manifests in shamanic god experiences. What
a fool. That doesn't explain the plagues, or
the Ten Commandments, written in stone
by the finger of God. Of course, faith is
the only way to see what we who believe see.
To the non-believer, it is foolishness, and
to us, they look like blind, deaf foolish
and retarded.
The Day of the LORD will be clear to most
people, because, a good number will only
curse God. Like this foolish and blind
researcher, they blaspheme blatantly, but,
when they watch their world go up in smoke,
they will blame God. So how can they be
atheists and blame God?
I have little hope for this world today.
I had a little enthusiasm for the election
months ago, but, even with Hillary winning
Ohio and Texas, it seems like this country
is going to commit suicide with a Muslim
candidate with a blatantly racist wife
and unknown agenda, just because
amoral movie stars call him a rock star
and he talks about "change." Change
is what we're heading for like Europe,
swallowed whole by the Islamic beast
and being digested like a helpless mouse
in the belly of a snake.
What a contrast in hope I have. The
less hope I have in the world, the only
hope left is God's Kingdom, and that
should be preferable, but being human,
I am still depressed. That's because
genocide is happening in the world,
and Matt Drudge won't tell you how
it is mainly against Christians.
Thousands of Christians are being
beheaded every day, but, we're so
eager to elect a man whose father
converted to Islam and whose pastor
leads a dead sociopolitical racist pulpit,
completely antichrist by definition.
The worse it gets, the closer Christ
comes. Still, I wonder how caterpillars
cope with the darkness of the cocoons,
wondering if they'll ever come out the
other end and fly away?
One day....
Zech 14 is terrifying, but, also gives us
infinite hope. We just need to abandon
our human hopes and dreams for our
own kingdoms, and accept the land
of the butterflies is far better. Being
mortal, even in transition, is painful
and confusing.
