And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off [and] die; but the third shall be left therein. |
And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people: and they shall say, The LORD [is] my God. |
The number of the beast is 666. 666 is
the numerical representation of 2/3rds.
Not that this is the sole explanation for
666, since the puzzle is the name of
Caesar, but, I'm just saying...
In many instances of trials, especially
depicted by the Prophets, 1/3 of the
people is represented as being the
candidates for redemption, but, the
larger part, the majority, don't even
want to be considered by God.
Never has that been more true than
today. While there are tens of millions
of people who attend Church, they
are out in the market buying Easter
eggs and bunnies for their kids, not
even questioning why they are
indulging their own families with
symbols of fertility, and neglecting
the cross of Christ.
Easter was mentioned once in the
Book of Acts, as a frame of reference.
The ceremony which was deemed
acceptable to God was the Passover,
not a bunny holiday, named for the
figure of jealousy, Isis/Ashtoreth...
I bring this up to illustrate how right
off the top, 2/3rds of the Church is
ruined. Incorporating ANY pagan
ceremonies or idols is anathema. It's
not covered. Maybe grace abounds,
but, people need to get honest about
their relationship with God and
put away the Mystery Religion.
At least I am convinced that this
is a major stumbling block which
automatically shuts out 2/3rds of
the flock.
In the remnant of souls, salvation
isn't easy. It requires diligent growth
and sacrifice.
This illustration of the refined part
of 1/3rd of the House of David's
salvation is used in a dramatic
play by Ezekiel:
¶ | And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber's razor, and cause [it] to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the [hair]. |
Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, [and] smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them. |
Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. |
Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; [for] thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel. |
¶ | Thus saith the Lord GOD; This [is] Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries [that are] round about her. |
And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that [are] round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. |
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that [are] round about you, [and] have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that [are] round about you; |
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, [am] against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. |
I included the judgment of Ezekiel's
prophecy, in conjunction with Zechariah's
vision to portray the penalties for spiritual
adultery.
Even though these two prophets referred
to totally different eras of judgment, the
judgment is the same.
In Ezek, after being given the Promised
Land, the nation tested YHWH generation
after generation. It always came down to
them wanting to do what they enjoyed,
to incorporate the pagan festival days,
which btw included the original Christmas
and Easter observances, which were later
renamed to have a semblance of Christ
in them, but, were an abomination then,
and they are an abomination now.
Because of the nation's fondness for the
world's religion and festivities, they
actually lose Israel, yet, they don't care.
When Ezekiel is given this burden, at
one point, the angel takes him to an
out of body perspective of seeing the
people celebrating these festivals of
abomination, both which deal with
the cult of Isis and goddess/sungod
worship.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Beware
brothers and sisters in Christ. This
is not being addressed in any church,
other than a few denominations which
are plagued with other legalistic problems,
so much so that they are just as far off
from the simplicity of worshipping
Christ and following the LAW.
It is like blindness prevents any from
accepting these blatant warnings.
For some reason, the Church doesn't
believe that the original warnings to
the HOuse of David in Israel applies
to mixing religions in the New Covenant!
Again and again we are warned, but
there are those whose only Christianity
is centered around Christmas and Easter.
When the Prophets write about being
tried through the fire, it is an illusion to
gold being purified. The fire is an oft
used metaphor for suffering in the faith.
We can't be carnal Christians. We cannot
put up images of jealousy in the form of
bunnies, eggs, trees and revel in indulgences
of food, drink, and material gifts, and
then justify it by singing a hymn.
We cannot change Christ's birth in the
Autumn, or Spring, (probably Yom Kippur)
and give him the title of sungod, and change
the idol's vital statistics into Christ's
birth, death and resurrection.
When will our eyes be opened? We wonder
why so few will make it, but, this is one
obvious reason. Once people stop depending
on their worldly pastors to instruct them
and read for themselves, pray about it,
and think about it with their own reasoning,
then they may stand a chance.
The first step is to leave any church that
incorporates pagan holidays and symbols,
or any pastor who has a PhD in religion,
because that alone is almost like the mark
of the beast. You cannot have a pastor who
graduated these worldly ecumenical
institutions who will feed his flock the truth.
These places are not seminaries but cemeteries.
By the time they graduate, 2/3rds of these
students of religion no longer even believe
themselves, let alone have any vessel
suitable for the Holy Spirit, at least in
my opinion.
