Lord God, El Shaddai, please embrace those
who are struggling to stay alive and be rescued
in the aftermath of this great earthquake in Peru.
Let their cries come before your throne, and may
angels be dispatched to all who have no other
hope but in your mercy and kindness to man.
Please open up the hearts of the international
community to assist the needy, in getting them
the help they need. Please be there to restore
those who have lost all their worldly goods,
as well as be the stronghold of those who are
grieving for lost loved ones and friend.
Rescue the innocent animals, too, dearest
Lord, and remember how you are glorified
by your mercy and miracles during these
catastrophes.
I also pray that the newest tropical storms do
not further plague New Orleans or my family
in central Texas.
In Jesus Christ's name, I pray.
