I hate it when Jews in the News are almost always confirmations of racist stereotypes, and while I liked her style, Amy was not a good Jew role model. In the past few years, the Jews in the News are almost exclusively abhorrent money-lender Shylocks, even worse, Madoffs and mini-Madoffs, or killers of little lost boys, not only murdering the mite, but, vivisecting the body for implied ingestion. This would make Goebbels so happy, that he'd be clapping in Hell.
Netanyahu is a good decent man, and probably the only sane world leader that we can trust in 2011. But, he gets no press. Even our Obama-nation leader wouldn't deign to stand with him in unity before the press, when Nettie tried to reason together with what was once the only true protector of Zion. Now, the tide has turned, and no one listens to this statesman from Israel, and no world media or press has figured out that if we don't listen to him NOW, there will not be the world we expect to be there in the next few years to come.
There WILL be a nuclear holocaust. My dad has almost been slugged in the face when he reminds people to start paying attention to Netanyahu's admonitions, and no media outlet cares. But, they care about Amy Winehouse, and the more debauched and depraved she became the more the world craved her. Why is that?
Inside of me, there was a deep sadness, because I knew she was going to end badly. So did her parents and friends, but, no one could or would really hold the bottom line, or when her boyfriend did, she reacted with a fatal dose of death in a needle.
This isn't a good role model of a Jewish girl. Just because her nose was hooked, and she was busty and loud, artsy and proud, didn't make Jews kvell in noches.
Those tattoos were a seminal abomination, and she paired it with cutting, also a major NO NO NO in the Torah oh oh uh-oh.
Leviticua 19:28
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD.
There are some accepted tattoos, but, only if you put the Name of GOD in it, otherwise, the marks on your flesh designate who owns you, by ancient tradition and custom.
One of the most beautiful Messianic prophecies in Isaiah 49::16
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of [my] hands; thy walls [are] continually before me.
In ancient religious customs of the pagans, and sometimes the Jews, slaves were designated by their slave-owner's seal. That's what was more ironic and savage about the Nazis tattooing the victims of the Holocaust the way they did. That's why the Antichrist requires a "MARK" upon the head or hand. God also requires a mark, and it is acceptable to write HIS NAME Hashem, Y'shua or Alpha and Omega, Jesus, El Shaddai, etc., but, alas, Amy's tattoos were not of this variety.
Leviticus 19:28 warns against marking anything that signified disreputable deities or entities, and in 19:29, it is added:
Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
The nature of her tattoos glorifies and glamorizes that prostitution of spirit and our culture, and this is something that the world embraced, calling her a great fashion and trend setter. So she was. Spiritual harlotry is the biggest sin there is, beyond, way beyond murder and mayhem. This is why some of the choices we make condemn us, because, they affect others.
Amy was a beacon to a million Jewish girls, and she blew it. She took under her wing an incredible little lady as her "god daughter" and I shudder to think of what would happen if she followed her footsteps. I am hoping that seeing Amy's end will keep that little singer in a straight line and not sideways.
Amy was not a good Jew, or any Jew, other than her father's father's father's fathers were possibly Jewish, and Hitler would have gassed her.
It's embarrassing to have this poor lost creature as 21st Century's last Jew standing representative. Actually, she's not left standing at all, is she?
That star she wore around her neck wasn't a "Star of David", which was a six prong-star which represented a pomegranate's six point crown The pomegranate is the holy fruit of creation and the Law of HaShem, our LORD, Yehoshua HaMaschiach, as mystically portrayed in the priest's attire and the Temple, in Exodus and the OT:

Amy wore a hexagram, a six point star in a circle and there's a huge difference.

In the book of "Amos" the prophet warns:
But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
For every sacred thing, be it symbol or Law or covenant, there is a profane and counterfeit spirit. This is the Antichrist. Amy sealed her fate.
I am not condemning Amy, for I am not her ultimate judge, but, I was like her, when I was in my teens. I dabbled in the occult and kabbala reckoning myself to be enlightened. I was a singer and musician and had miserable stage fright, so intense that I couldn't perform without drugs and alcohol. So, I could have been Amy had it not been for the mercy of God, and the miracle of Christ's compassion. In fact, if I can thank someone for my salvation, it may be Jimmy Page, not Oral Roberts, since, I came in through the back door up that stairway to heaven. I saw my demons, like Amy saw hers, and may see them forever, according to God's grace and judgment.
OK, enough rant. I'm just tired of bad Jews, and wish there were more great Jews, like Netanyahu, who got the world's attention today, because, he speaks the truth, and we need to listen. We need to pray because the time is getting nearer to the Cube's return. There's a party and a city that's made out of precious stones. There's a wedding feast that is open to all those on this highway of life. Come to the FEAST my brothers. Be a good Jew, especially if you're a Christian!
